The Proper Function of Ore Elevator Machine

Ore elevator machine is very important for any type of ores processing lines in mining industry. In aggregate crushing plant and beneficiation plant, bucket elevator is suitable to transport dry material with small size and powder, and the materials are with little abrasion or no abrasion, such as coal, cement, gravel, sand, clay, mineral, etc. Bucket elevator must be firmly installed in a solid concrete base. The surface of the concrete foundation should be even and horizontal, which ensures the bucket elevator can be vertical after installation.

The plate chain bucket elevator at a higher altitude has connection between the central case and lower device and the neighbor construction such as bunker and workshop to improve its reliability. When installing the bucket elevator, we should firstly install the lower device and fix the foundation bolt, then install the central case and next install the upper case. After the chassis installed, we can corrective vertical degree. In this way, we can take advantage of the plumb line to check whether the axis is in one plane with the ranging precision not higher than 10 mm.

After installing the case of bucket hoist conveyor, we can next install the chain and the hopper. U-type screw is often used to connect the hopper, as both the chain joint and the fixed parts. The screw nut must be tightened to make sure the reliability and locking protection. Please tighten the chain and the hopper after they are installed. Engine oil and butter with appropriate volume is added to the reducer and bearing block of the bucket conveyer. In the reducer, industrial gear oil is used, and butter is used in the bearing block.

When the installation is finished, commissioning and debugging are needed with no load. Attention should be paid to two points. One is that the ore elevator machine cannot rotate in the wrong direction, and the other is there being no collision in the machine. The free-load running should last more than two hours, the temperature of the bearings and reducers cannot be higher than 250 degree and 300 degree.
